Step 1 — Volume Data Collection
Every month we pull deposit volume figures from Tanzanite Analytics, a blockchain analytics platform that tracks on-chain deposits at all major crypto casinos. This data shows us exactly how much real money real players are depositing — not marketing claims, not self-reported numbers.
The Tanzanite dataset for Mar 2026 covers 1,148,000+ individual player wallets and $600M+ in tracked monthly deposits across the casinos we monitor. When Stake shows $351M in volume, that figure comes from analysing 501,000 individual blockchain transactions — not a Stake press release.
Why this matters: Volume is the only metric that can't be faked at scale. A casino can claim any RTP, publish any fake review, or manufacture any award. But blockchain transactions are immutable — either the deposits happened or they didn't.
Step 2 — Personal Testing Protocol
Before any casino appears on ProvenlyFair.com, our team creates a real account and completes a structured test protocol:
- Account creation: We time the registration process and note all friction points (email verification, phone verification, ID requirements)
- First deposit: We deposit using Bitcoin and at least one altcoin (typically ETH or USDT) and record the time from initiation to credited balance
- Bonus claim: We claim the advertised welcome bonus and document the exact wagering terms, game restrictions, and time limits
- Gameplay: We play a minimum of 50 rounds across slots, live casino, and crash games where available
- Withdrawal test: We request a withdrawal and record the processing time from request to wallet receipt
