WHAT IS PROVABLY FAIR?
Provably fair is a cryptographic system that lets players verify every casino game result was determined before they bet and never manipulated. It combines a hashed server seed, a player-controlled client seed, and a nonce, so anyone can independently recalculate each outcome after the seed is revealed.
How provably fair works
The system runs in four steps:
- Commit — the casino generates a secret server seed and shows you its SHA-256 hash before any bet.
- Contribute — you set (or accept) a client seed the casino cannot predict.
- Play — each result is derived from server seed + client seed + an incrementing nonce.
- Reveal & verify — after you rotate seeds, the old server seed is published and every past result can be recomputed.
