To check a past drop yourself: after you rotate your server seed, Shuffle reveals the plaintext. Hash it with SHA-256 and confirm it equals the hash you were shown before betting — that proves they could not change it after the fact. Then re-run HMAC-SHA256 with that server seed, your client seed and the nonce, regenerate the floats, apply Math.floor(float * 2) per row, sum them, and confirm the slot matches the result you got. The honest limit: provably fair proves the landing slot was committed before your bet and not tampered with after. It does not remove the house edge — the ~1% is baked into the payout tables, so the game is verifiable and random but still negative expected value over time.
THE ODDS: WHERE THE BALL ACTUALLY LANDS
The landing slot is the sum of 8–16 independent 50/50 left/right steps, so the slots follow a binomial distribution: the centre slots are by far the most likely, and the extreme edge slots — where the 1,000x and the other top multipliers sit — are extremely rare. That is the whole reason the big multipliers can be so large.
- 16 rows = 17 possible end slots, and the centre is the most probable landing zone by a wide margin.
- A specific outer-edge slot on 16 rows has probability (1/2)16 = 1 in 65,536 — which is exactly why a 1,000x hit is a once-in-a-blue-moon event.
- Higher risk does not change these landing probabilities. It just redistributes the payout values — smaller or near-zero middle slots, larger edges — so the ~1% edge still holds.
Every drop is statistically independent of every prior drop. A run of centre landings does not make an edge slot “due,” and a streak of big hits does not mean a cold spell is owed.
